Meet the photographer
Hey, my name is Heaven...
I guess there's a bit more to me than just being passionate about art, photography and people. I absolutely love the outdoors. Which is probably why you'll see nature show up so much in my work. I spent a few years outdoor rock climbing before a spinal injury and inevitable back surgery forced me to step away. So I bought a Jeep and use that to adventure now! Life is all about the pivot.
I'm married to an amazing man who often assists me at weddings and photoshoots. I have a 13 year old son who says I'm the cool Mom, but I'm pretty sure he just wants more screen time. Ha! We have a rescue pup who is the neediest member of our family but also the sweetest.
When I'm not photographing the world and the people in it, I'm usually binge watching shows while editing those photos , listening to audiobooks or true crime podcasts , or enjoying one of my many hobbies like reading, painting, paddle boarding, or going on road trips with my husband. My life is always a bit chaotic, but it is also wildly beautiful .

Before I ever pick up my camera, I want to understand what brought you here.
I want to know why this moment matters. The emotion behind why we're here. What you're hoping to remember years from now.
Those answers shape everything that follows.
How I approach your session. How I guide you. The moments I instinctively look for. And ultimately, the photographs we create together.
When the day arrives, I don't expect you to know what to do. That's my job.
I'll guide you when you need direction, step back when the moment deserves space, and I'll probably end up kneeling in the mud, climbing over rocks, or getting soaked in the rain if it means creating something you'll love.
More than anything, I want you to know you're in the hands of someone who's fully invested. Invested in your story, your experience, and making sure the photographs reflect not just how the day looked, but what made it yours.
My work is grounded in a consistent artistic vision, but it's always guided by the people I'm photographing.
Their personalities. The landscape surrounding them. The way the light finds them. The small details that make their story uniquely their own.
I lean in to that guidance to curate a gallery that truly captures the people in front of my lens.
