Storybook Session
The Storybook Session offers more time and flexibility, allowing moments to build naturally in a relaxed, unhurried way. We’ll begin with a short introduction to meet, get comfortable, and ease into the session before photographing begins. For children, I find the meet and greet super helpful with letting them get to know me and feel comfortable with being photographed by a stranger. After that, we will have a dedicated 60 minutes shooting time!
For individuals, the Storybook Session allows space to truly settle in. With more time than a Keepsake Session, there’s room to relax, loosen up, and really capitalize on the space around us, maximizing poses and backdrops. This session also allows for one outfit change, giving you the opportunity to capture a wider range of looks, moods, and the poses you’ve been dreaming of without feeling rushed.
For couples, the added time creates space for your story to unfold naturally. We may take a longer walk, play games, dance to your favorite song, explore nearby scenery, or pause when a moment feels right. There’s time for connection to deepen, movement to feel natural, and for your relationship to be the focus. This session is ideal for couples who want a fuller collection of images that feel album-worthy and true to who they are together.
For families, especially those with multiple children, the Storybook Session provides the time needed to create a more complete story. Each child has space to be seen, with multiple moments captured individually and together. We’ll use simple games and prompts to keep kids engaged, while also allowing plenty of freedom to move, explore and have fun! I always seem to get the best photos of children when they have the time and space to really be themselves. With the extended timeframe, there’s room for sibling dynamics to shine and for parents to step in for their own moments together as well.

You’ll receive 20-25 professionally and individually edited high resolution images, delivered through a personal online gallery where your photographs can be easily viewed and downloaded.
